Painting a Rooster in Watercolor

Materials you will need before watching this video:
- Watercolor paper – 100% cotton is best
- Watercolor paints (any form is OK: pan, tube, liquid)
- Small and medium size round (4-8), a 3/4″ flat and detail brush (size 2)
- Masking fluid (optional)
- Painter’s tape
- Spray bottle with clean water
- Paper towels
- Two container with clean water for rinsing brushes
Preparation:
- Tape down your paper if not using a gummed pad
- Create light pencil sketch
- Mask out areas you want to keep white or reserve for lighter painting later
