Materials you will need before watching this video:
  • Watercolor paper – 100% cotton is best
  • Watercolor paints (any form is OK: pan, tube, liquid)
  • Small and  medium size round (4-8) and a 3/4″ flat
  • Masking fluid (optional)
  • Painter’s tape
  • Spray bottle with clean water
  • Paper towels or old dish towel
  • two container with clean water for rinsing brushes
Preparation:
  • Tape down your paper if not using a gummed pad
  • Create light pencil sketch
  • Mask out white areas on the heron
