Mixed Media Weekend Collage Workshop

In this 2-day workshop you learn how select a color theme to create transparent collage papers while exploring  gel plate techniques for printing unique papers. Then we will use our unique papers to create multi-layered collages with interest, depth, transparency and color harmony.

CLASS DATES: Bring a lunch each day if you want.  Some snacks & drinks will be available.

• Saturday, June 27 – 10am-2pm
• Sunday, June 28 – 11am-3:00pm

Supplies to bring

• Gel Plate (recommend 8 x 10)
• Wet strength tissue or regular white tissue paper
• Acrylic paints (soft body paints work best, but bring want you have)
• Any Stencils you would like to use
• 3” or 4” Brayer
• Old 1” flat brush or silicon shaper tool for gluing
• 8 oz. matte medium
• Two 12” x 12” canvases or wood panels
• Any other acrylic brushes you like
• Apron or old shirt
