WORKSHOP: Creating Unique Painted Papers

This workshop will dive into more creative uses for the gel plate with some advanced techniques and different paper options.  You will also learn how to create unique papers without the gel plate.

Material Supplied

• Papers to print on
• Some stencils and paint may be available
• Plastic for drying papers
• Brushes for matte medium
• Materials for embedding
• Baby wipes for clean up

Materials to Bring:

• Gel Plate*
• Scissors
• Brayer
• Your favorite acrylic paints
• Any small, flat objects you want to use in a paper
• Small contain of matte medium (8 oz) – can also be gloss if that is what you have
• Flat file or something to take all your painted papers home
• Apron or old shirt

*If you do not have a gel plate, you can select the payment option to include a gel plate that I will provide for your use. If you do not have other materials and want me to supply them, let me know.
