Art Classes & Workshops

We recommend completing Watercolor Basics 1 & 2 before taking any other watercolor course. This will help you learn and practice the fundamentals techniques. If Watercolor Basics 1 & 2 are not currently offered, we can do private instruction.

Loading Events

This is a drawing class for beginners or those who have not taken a drawing course.

This class will focuses on teaching you how to “see” and then draw instead of drawing from memory or what you think something should look like. Fundamental drawing techniques will be taught. Each class will have a short learning concept, technique or demonstration with plenty of time for you to work on your own drawings.

This class will teach you:

  • Basic drawing concepts and terminology
  • Understanding line & form
  • Shading & value techniques
  • Some tricks for helping you draw better
  • The art of sketching

Each class students will be given an “assignment” to do on their own to help reinforce and build their skills.

Instructor will provide “office hours” that students can schedule a one-on-one session to ask questions, review progress, and get feedback.
